Lets face it, Los Angeles has tons to offer it's locals and tourists, but the one event that I always look forward to every year is the Los Angeles ComicCon
L.A. ComicCon, along with Anheim's WonderCon is held every year and offers its guests tons to do, buy, and drool over. The L.A. ComicCon isn't as big as San Diego's, but it does has its loyal fan base.
Fans who attend L.A. ComicCon or WonderCon can enjoy panels from their favorite movie or TV shows:
My travels to Peru was amazing—so much so that I'm going back later this year! What fascinated me was how much nature and beauty Peru holds, from it's culture to their beloved Alpacas and Llamas (yes there's a difference)
Just to name a few:
With the Alpacas in mind, visiting the Canzelle Alpaca Farm was a MUST. I made a nice sunny California day into a small day trip and headed to Carpenteria.
In just a little over 2 hours—no thanks to the Los Angeles traffic, I was in the calm County of Santa Barbara.
It’s been long over due, But VoidVR has finally come to California! This virtual reality experience comes ahead and on time for Disney’s Star Wars theme land
Napa Valley, is obviously known for it's award winning wineries in California as it's known for as Wine County. But Napa Valley has been keeping a little secret from tourists and it's been recently getting the attention it deserves:
Odette Estate may have been established in 2012, but this Eco-Friendly and Environment friendly winery has been building a reputation for itself with notably the 2016 Best of San Francisco award and winning the Wine Advocate award in 2015.
My heart aches for Northern California. It was just 3 months ago that I took a road trip down there to visit some wineries. With land full of grape vines that spread across acres and acres, it's sad to see a lot of them destroyed. And what hurts is that Harvest season was in September...
Prior to the fires, the wineries in Northern California was a top destination trip for many to visit and enjoy the views and wine tasting. From the famous Castillo de Amorosa to the chic and earth friendly, Odette Estate (more on Odette Estate in a later blog post).
Churros have long been a traditional treat all over the world. From Amusement Parks, to Costco, this sugary snack is a family favorite. Though, the debate still stands on where Churros first originated from, one thing is for curtain—churros are a gift from the Gods.
And Lucero's Bakery, a well known Mexican bakery in the heart of Los Angeles is no stranger to the new twist on the Traditional Churros.
Yes, you read correctly.. the traditional churros have been upgraded and the new craze is taking the churro industry by storm. As mentioned, Lucero's Bakery is no stranger to this new churro phenomenon though.
What's the new Craze?
Is it possible for Humans and Animals to get along?
Here's my answer:
Since the dawn of time... well, at least since the World War animals have been helping out as brave messengers in the war to deliver classified intel/info to the fleets and allies.
So is it possible for Humans to interact and coexist with Animals to better our Earth?
Absolutely! And this is proven by many organizations and non-profit organizations like Adams Falconry and Project Wildsong.
You can read more about it on my article: Humans and Animals Working Together here
The 360 deg view of Los Angeles is truly a sight, and great for taking those selfies above L.A. But if you're scared of heights, you can always hang out at 71Above restaurant and Lounge, located on the 71st floor., or skip the Sky Slide and head over to the 69th floor and enjoy the view from the Observation Deck.
My last blog post took you to San Francisco's Boudin Bakery at Disney's California Adventure. For today's Blog post, I'll be taking you to New Orleans—Well, Disney's New Orleans Square featuring their Blue Bayou Restaurant.
Enjoy the Madri Gras vibe as Disney transforms New Orleans Square and entices you to the era of Jazz , but watch out...you may possibly get a beaded necklace (or two) thrown at you. New Orleans Square is home to the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, but also is home to a little hidden gem called the Blue Bayou Restaurant.
One word: Gumbo
I know you've seen the Blue Bayou before... it's the restaurant that you pass as you descend from the drop while riding Pirates of The Caribbean.
Recognize it now?
San Francisco—The Golden State. The City of up hills and curves, the famous bridge, and home of the best eateries around. Where China town is to the right, and Alcatraz is to the left (depending on where you're standing).
But when I'm not able to visit San Fran, I turn to the next best thing... Disney's California Adventure! The place where magic happens for the young and old at heart. Where thrill seekers and foodies gather for numerous of reasons.
California Adventure is growing in popularity as it's sister land—Disneyland, and it's offering guests a variety of choices where to dine. One in particular is the famous San Francisco, Boudin Bakery. Located at the Pacific Wharf area, the Boudin Bakery offers tours and an insight of how their sourdough bread is made. You can literally see the bread bowls going through the baking process, I mean... who doesn't love fresh warm sourdough bread?
